Based on its own fibre-optic network, the company will offer its clients and partners, including local ones, new services based on Smart City solutions. The head of the new competence centre is Jarosław Staręga, who has been implementing Smart City projects for many years, and has education and knowledge gained in the implementation of telecommunications projects. HAWE Telekom plans to secure the first contracts within 6 months. HAWE Telekom's services are aimed at local government units, public institutions and the private sector. The company plans to participate in projects involving, among other things, the construction of broadband networks for urban areas, including the use of fibre-optic connections, as well as public Wi-Fi and IoT access points, which will ultimately be used to construct the 5G network in Poland.
